a40 is the budget option if you do want to stay under the 250, but I really do suggest going that extra bit of money for the a50, its only 50 extra

They lack things like wireless charging, poorer specs compared to some older S-series phones, and also no water proofness

This is by far the best way to go with that budget. You get all of the perks of a flagship while still being able to afford it.

The LG V30 is easily obtainable for under $200 either new or manufacturer refurbished.

They really don't, it's android like any other phone that isn't an IPhone. It's just a good excuse to implement a ban.

Please don't expect things like a waterproof phone with wireless charging for that price....
I get the fact you want a good phone for a good price, but it isn't possible to get an amazing phone for a good price, you're gonna have to go dig a bit deeper in your wallet if you want both of those options.

The LG G7 is still very powerful and waterproof while staying within that budget.

You may not get the latest and greatest but you can still get some amazing features with that budget.
