I'm actually helping an irl friend build an i7 7700k pc with 16 gb ram and gtx 1080 for around $1.5k and I don't see why people are putting a $200 motherboard for instance when there is literally no use?

Could you give us an insight of what you're looking for?

I mean, there's loads of builds given to you, if you don't like any, maybe you could steer us in the right direction?
