This was not posted as a bot. Also, I do not quite understand by the "copy and pasting message hoping someone will think it's actually him."
There wasn't any contact info on his thread, and instead of private messaging him, I thought it would be a bit more convenient for him to just scroll down without the clutter of others private messaging.
Thanks for the advice everyone, I will make sure to next time contact the customers who request a service!
Also, I do not copy and paste my messages, I hand type or text it because I'm not sure how to spice it up for each reply I make. Therefore, I do the general which is letting them know that we would be glad to help them out and leaving our contact information if they would like to go with us and or to discuss further on their project.
