Hello all!

My name is jen, I run a network called Coolax-Gaming. You can find our site here:
https://www.coolax-gaming.com/

As you can see, it's a little dated in its style, and I'd love to hire someone to revamp it. It's an enjin run site. I would really like to keep the red and black theme, and just make things more navigatable and smooth looking. I like the side widgets, however they're a little clunky here. My biggest request is that, if possible, I would like our shop logos to be bigger.

You can message me on here, as well as discord. Catsnake#3793

Looking forward to doing business with people!

I don't think he does enjin designs - do you read the thread before tagging?
I did read the thread before tagging, I'm not sure either but it doesn't hurt to tag, he might actually do them.

I think you need to expand your range of web developers - I've seen you tag Josh on threads that are beyond what he is capable of, please refer to here to familiarize yourself with the web developers within the community and what they do: https://www.mc-market.org/threads/411494/#post-3427710

I honestly don't care enough to read through a list, I'll be tagging Josh because he's done work for me in the past and I was satisfied with it. If he can or cannot do something it's up to him to decide, I'll just tag him because it's a potential commission for him. Shaun

Let's not continue this as it's trashing the thread.

There are other people that you can tag that can do the job - familiarize yourself with these people as mentioning without confidence just wastes everyone's time - including me having to tell you to not do this. If the client decides to get in contact with the developer and chat, only to realize that the developer can't do the project, that's a waste of time for the client.

There's an old proverb that I know you've heard, whenever you assume, you make an ass out of you and me.

Again study the list posted above, I appreciate people who mention web developers in threads as it saves us (the web developer) time and makes us aware of clients with projects that fall within our skillsets. Thanks!

My answer remains the same, which is the above one.

Thanks.

Why go so far to argue about something so trivial?
He tagged someone who might be able to do the job and thats it nothing else let it be

Sorry, allow me to clarify - I find it an annoyance whenever I see people who mention web developers who are either inexperienced or unable to do what the OP is requesting. Now of course it's natural to ask "Well what if I don't know what the developer is capable of and what if he could do that project"? That's 100% acceptable and fine, however I specifically have an issue with Norska who constantly tags Joshua in projects he cannot do, and I've seen it multiple times. Now I don't personally know of all of Josh's abilites so if I'm making an ass out of myself, then let me make an ass out of myself. However, from my own personal experience from helping Joshua with his own works (and having gone through the experience of him skidding my own design), I can conclude that he's a front-end HTML/CSS web developer at best.

I liken this to a service team just mindlessly posting their Discord invite link on every thread - in this scenario it's Norska tagging Joshua C in almost every recent web developer thread from simple front-end websites to website with complex database integrations and more. Again I have no issue with you tagging Josh, just please tag him in the projects that he can do and are within his skillset and tag other developers elsewhere.

Again, if I'm totally wrong then I'll accept that, I don't mean to come off as angry more so as "quit your bullshit and tag the right people".

someone an angry boy cause he isn't a good web dev.
Alright.

Alright.
I know that Joshua has been caught copying designs before don't get me wrong but I think there is no reason to just spam a thread back and forth for something so trivial as tagging Id just let it go and try offering the person who started the tread a solution for his request.

Wholeheartedly agree, I've reached out to the OP to apologize and have recommend him/her a web designer that does enjin.

I do all type of front-end development expect Liteban themes so far.
Also to add, I only asked for help when I was learning front-end (HTML/CSS) and only asked for basic help with flex-box with which I'm comfortable to work around and work on solutions myself.
And reduce the hatred. Kappa

Peace, Norska[DOUBLEPOST=1547968104][/DOUBLEPOST]

I still wouldn't agree upon me "copying" design when I used simple layout, and color scheme that could be used by anyone.
You can't copyright "layout, colors, loaders" lmao.[DOUBLEPOST=1547968394][/DOUBLEPOST]
"quit your bullshit and tag the right people".
His only tagging the person whom he thinks "Is the best to work around xx project".

I might be wrong on this but werent you one who copied layout of another developer from this platform and replied that you liked the design so you followed it or something like that?
Again sorry if I got the wrong person on this

Possibly not that guy, I clearly never agreed upon facts provided by "Shaun" but when he starting BS talks then I add to end all those.

Here's you getting tagged in backend heavy applications here, and here.

Here's my original point:
"quit your bullshit and tag the right people".

Tell your guy your limitations, that way you'll get tagged in projects that you can do .

I think Xenons is referring to me? I may be incorrect, however here the thread where I point out that you skidded my design here.

This thread has dragged on too far and I've already stated what I wanted to point out earlier above, the only additional point I want to address is that there are other web developers within this community that are suited for the job and deserved to be tagged in posts, I want to make you guys aware of them so that we are recommending work to the correct people - there exists a list on these sub-forums that have developers of all skills and fields, familiarize yourself with these developers, it never hurts to network!

I'll restate it again, if you have a comment, question, etc. please do not respond and continue dragging this thread - I've recommended the OP an Enjin designer and now we are here bickering like children. PM me on MCM or create a thread elsewhere if you want to continue discussing. Thanks.

P.S Thanks for the reactions, really boosting my points!
