Ranch n’ Craft is a medium-sized horse-based server that has been around since February of 2015. We have an amazing community, staff members, and a drive like no other. We also use a large custom plugin that affects the way horses work in-game. We encourage applicants to login and get an idea of how it works. Just let staff know, (you can find us with TAB. Our current plugin allows players to claim (own), buy, sell, level, and breed horses in-game. It also already contains a host of other features which will be made clear when we have further discussions on the plugin. Again, hop in-game and try it out.

What we're looking for:
We’re looking for a developer who can take our plugin to the next level. We were told by the last developer that the current source code likely needs to be re-written. This should be taken into consideration with your quote. In that case, we would need it re-built from the ground up. The developer would need to understand how our current plugin works (source code would be released upon acceptance of position). The Developer would agree to release the plugin in playable installments to be tested as they continue to work on other parts. We have a very detailed design doc that we can share upon request after a non-disclosure agreement is made. This is done via Discord. Please see below on just a generalized list of features that we’re looking for in the plugin.

- Editing and minor alterations in Vet and Farrier features like shots, injuries, and shoes.
- Adding further traits to horses (ie: Loving: horse tends to follow you around)
- “Bloodlines/DNA”

- Adding gaits (walk, Trot, lope, canter.)

Requirements:
- Experienced in: Java, Bukkit, Bungeecord, MySQL, Packet Sending, other API's
- Work well with others
- Dedication
- Mature
- Communication will be done over Discord
- Must be willing to post weekly updates on the website forum.
- Can display a portfolio (e.g Github,Spigot Premium Plugins, Bukkit etc)
- Prefer (would consider the right person if younger) over 18 years of age and willing to show proof. (id, drivers lic, etc) Sorry, we understand that there's A LOT of younger talented developers. However, we have had a few who have been younger and get grounded or start school and the project never gets finished.
- Will be required to sign a confidentiality/agreements before payment is sent
- Source code (even uncompleted) will be turned in with payment installments.
- Be detailed when telling us about yourself and your experiences.
- Horse knowledge is a plus; not a requirement.
- Log in game and ask about or play with our current plugin
- Payments will be done via PayPal and Buyer protection will be used. Payments will be done in installments. One installment (agreed-upon price) to get you started and then x amount on agreed-upon "release dates". Would prefer to stay around $1500.
- This needs to be done ASAP, but we understand that as it is a very large plugin, the overall completion may take months. We understand that time to complete properly is required which is why we would like the smaller installments. We are okay with a longer time as long as something is being released and worked on.
