Hello,

Welcome to this thread. We're currently working on a huge unique/original project that has been worked on by our Devs for the past several months. Although we do have quite a lot of skilled Devs, we believe more is always a good thing.

In order to qualify, please have the following:

  • Expertise in any sort of programming language. (Plugin configurations isn't coding)
  • 16 years of age or older
  • A Microphone
  • Speak English

(This is not a paid position)

First, ask yourself why a team of Devs is working on a project with no pay at the moment.
The most likely explanation is they're working for you because they couldn't find anyone who would pay them to work for them. That's probably why your project's been going on for several months.

Looked good till I saw '(This is not a paid position)'
If you are looking for developers who will take the time and actually care about what they are doing, you will need to pay some of them.
Even if on the slight chance you get a dev team together, they are going to half-ass the work or take as long as they want to do it because it's more or less charity work at that point.

You're right. Even slave got food from their master, so isnt it rude to make ppl work for u without giving anything in return. Linus develop linux with no intention to get paid, but at last, he still get paid.

At the moment, our staff members are giving their free time for the sake of the Network. Everyone gets along well and everyone knows what they have to do. You may be building the room, someone else is building the washroom while another is working on the living room. Next thing you know, putting the puzzle pieces together creates amazing content.

We have:
1 Head-Admin
0 Admins
7 Devs
1 Head-Manager
5 Plugin managers
2 Community managers
1 Head-Builder
3 Builders
0 Head Moderators
0 Moderators (Why bother when we're in public beta and haven't fully opened)

Although this seems small, be assured that everyone of them is doing something thanks to our automated staff token system:

The staff token system thought of by myself, coded by one of our Discord bot Dev:

-At the beginning of every 3 months you start off with 7 tokens
-Each day you lose 1 token
-If you end up with 0 tokens you get kicked off the staff team.
-To get tokens, provide proof of what you've done for the community and add a description to it in the #proof-for-token channel
-Senior staffs will rate it out of 9 which will be added to the token system automatically and substract the tokens each day.
-Tokens are reset back to 7 every 3rd month of the year. (4 times a year)

Devs/Artists are excluded from this concept. ( I wonder why )

So to answer your questions, our staff members do work. This creates a fun and challenging concept for those under the influence of the staff token system. You might ask yourself why we implemented this? Purely because back then we had 30-40 staff members and only 1/4 of them would actually help around. I decided to implement this so that we'd be 100% sure everyone would participate together. The token system isn't something to punish staff members, it's simply a basic routine to allow other staff members to see the Network's progress. Not only does it allow us to see how well we're progressing thanks to the proof provided by every staff members, but it only pushes them to do a minimum requirement. (The token system is super easy. If you get kicked out, it simply means you haven't done anything at all) This is only to make sure everyone is doing the bare minimum of what we expect from them. Vacations as well as Holidays and even Medical/Law issues are kept into account. We can freeze everyone's tokens or simply an individual's if their situation is critical.

However, 2 days ago we came up with a method on how we'd be giving a fair share of our income to individuals. It'll be calculated and automated as well. But these things need time to be thought of as well as how they'll be applied. Each individual live in certain countries, have a specific age and are under different laws depending of the country they live in which makes the process a bit more complicated but possible none the less.

If you have any further questions you guys can simply DM me on my Discord, which has been provided at the top of this thread.

Personally, I wouldn't waste my time on making plugins for free on what has a slight chance of being successful and even then you don't really get paid.

I mean if others are doing it then touche but I would never.

Also by 7 devs are we taking good devs or just watched a video off youtube and called myself a dev styled devs?
dev dev, dev dev.. dev.

Either way good luck with your server will be interesting, to say the least.

So they're paid in tokens that do nothing but keep you on the team. Nice.
