Looking for Devs

Hello,

Welcome to this thread. We're currently working on a huge unique/original project that has been worked on by our Devs for the past several months. Although we do have quite a lot of skilled Devs, we believe more is always a good thing.

In order to qualify, please have the following:

• Expertise in any sort of programming language. (Plugin configurations isn't coding)
• 16 years of age or older
• A Microphone
• Speak English

Not to trash talk but if it would be moving forwards at ”full speed” you would not need to hire more devs if it dont matter if you get ”extra” help or not why making this thread ?

More is always better. But only if you know how to organize everyone efficiently. Lets just say you don't want staffs not knowing what they have to do. Everyone knows what they have to do on our team.

I'm just curious why a dev team works for free, if they were good devs, wouldn't they rather be paid? I'm not saying their work is bad or anything, and I agree it can happen, as on the server I owned the 2nd Owner was also a developer and did a lot for us.

Nah mate, no one has seen such a project and everyone is hyped about it because it'll give the Minecraft community a new way of making plugins and playing inbox me if you wish to know more.

Gonna be honest with you, I never compliment logos, but THAT is quite the nice logo, good job to whoever you hired for that one. Also any GOOD good quality dev, the only time they MIGHT want to work for free is to have this listed on their portfolio/resume and even then, they're obviously not gonna be working as hard on it, if they were getting paid 2k+ for another job.... I mean why would they?

Thank you, I thought of the concept, our artist Ellie made it, one of the staff members on McMarket. We strive for quality over quantity, we have many Devs who are working together in order to make our place a good place. It's a home to many and we're a happy community. I mean, some people don't have wifes and kids. Have spare time on their hands and are looking to improve their experience. Some have actual jobs and like participating in projects. I guess this just isn't for you. Move along, or keep being salty. Whichever.

Wtf is this? No good developer is gonna spend their own free time so you can sit back on your ass and collect the money this server generates.

You've got 7 devs, all of which are probably very inexperienced and barely know Java outside of watching Pogostick29dev videos.

11 Devs now. But yeah, I see your point. You're judging our Devs based on some unknown factor. Not to mention you seem salty.

I don’t get this, why do you all argue regard whether his developers are good or not?

Let me put that straight - this absolutely shouldn’t matter to you.

Kalinox decided to go for free developers, then let him live with his choice.
He may very well test them before to see they do have a certain level of expertise and he might not as well. It simply shouldn’t matter to you all, just like you know the pros & cons - believe him that he knows them as well and he’s still willing to go with it.

I do truly understand your point as a developer, as I wouldn’t work for free either as of this moment, but he never asked any of you to. If you don’t want to work for free - leave him alone and let others who do, comment.
