Recently I setup a VPS (virtual private server) with the intention to start hosting minecraft servers. The reason for this is that just like a lot of people on here, I enjoy envisioning and creating a minecraft server from scratch. However I'm making this post because it has been a while since I've played minecraft, let alone host a server. Which is why I'm looking for some help and possible ideas.
I'd prefer someone with a good amount of knowledge and experience when it comes to running servers. I'm not only talking about the technical aspect but also about management of the staff and playerbase.
As for the VPS we'd be running the server(s) on. I host it on the Oracle cloud. it has 4 VCPU's & 24 GB RAM. Payment is not needed for the server. As for other expenses I expect them to be split somewhat evenly.
