I'm making a Minecraft server on my PC at the moment and planning to upgrade to a hosted service. Can anyone recommend a good one?

I haven't run a server since early 1.14 and have not paid any attention to Minecraft or any forums for a while.

I was thinking about BisectHosting.

Hi there,

Our premium Minecraft plans are currently just $1.25/GB recurring: https://clovux.net/mc
We use i7-6700K CPUs which are ideal for Minecraft due to their high single-thread benchmark.

We've been around since 2014, which is much longer than most other hosts around here.

Let us know if you have any questions!

I know this might seem biased from a hosting providers standpoint, but about 5 years ago I used bisect and I wouldn’t recommend it. Reason being that when I used them I had a lot of lag and I paid a good amount. As far as a recommendation it depends what your looking for. If your looking for a budget provider vahosting or pebblehost work. But if your wanting to focus more on quality a VPS or a premium mc provider is the way to go. I could sell you a vps if you want at a discount, just let me know if that is something of interest, and regardless good luck finding what your looking for.

I currently use ExtraVM. They have pretty fast servers and the support is very quick. HeavyNode also seems like a pretty good option.

Well, I have EU servers if you are interested. Ill probably even host it for free. Ignore these hosting companies wanting you, they just want to cash out lol. <3
Heard of a business? Also you're offering to sell parts of your dedi in a thread, bare in mind without a privacy policy, so stop talking.

This is amusing on many levels.

First off, your status, "I like the GDPR a bit too much" is funny since I work in that sector as my full time job and learnt much about it.

Secondly, don't presume I don't have a privacy policy, since I do, but I am not going to place it on my thread.

Thirdly, I ran a hosting company for two years, so I know all the ins and outs of it.

Thanks, good day. Now YOU stop talking ;)

If that's your full time job why are you in here demeaning fully reputable hosting providers, even when you did the same for 2 years and still do? Clovux has been around for 7 god damn years and you think your 2 give you the right to demean them?

First off, stop jumping to conclusions. I no longer run a hosting company for many reasons which I will not discuss here since you cannot keep your privy nose out of misinformation.

Secondly, nothing is stopping me de-meaning hosting companies. It's not a issue, and it's battle for who can get the client. I am only forewarning the client that you have a 1 to 1 experience with me, and not some support guy at a big company.

Why am I wasting time with this? Oh yeah, to deal with the toxic people on MCM. I would recommend piping down my good friend. You started this, not me.

The reason I'm toxic is because you're demeaning completely reputable hosting companies, ran by great people. I'll admit I may've gone a lil overboard but utilizing language advertising material which inflicts losses on another's reputation is hella scummy.

And yes you still do hosting, you have a thread where you offer a hosting service.

Fair enough. I don't need to continue with this. I draw my case here.

Let me go with these guys!!! They're so professional!!! On a serious note, you should be more professional if you want to grow your business. Responding like this is not what gets people [me] to buy your products.
What location?
Looking for central/eastern US. I should've mentioned that in the post.

Appreciate the offer but I don't plan to host it in the EU.
Noted.

I was actually thinking about going with them, but I'll research it more to see what's up.

Not looking for a VPS, but thanks.

I was thinking about ExtraVM too, I've only heard good things and Mike [their owner] seems to be pretty mature.

Wasn't my intention but thanks anyways. I'll be professional when people don't demean others out of nowhere.
