Hi everyone
I’m currently working on a Battle Royale gamemode for Hytale.
I already have a mod that handles instanced arenas, match flow (start/end), border storm system, chest filling, and all the core gameplay, I have the full source code.
What I really need help with now is improving the UI, progression systems and more gamemodes.
Specifically, I want to implement:
- a polished in-game HUD / UI (kills, alive players, match info, etc.)
- killstreak titles / popups
- a player level system (XP, progression)
- possibly a battle pass system
- leaderboards
- multiple game modes (like Squad, Deathmatch, etc.)
- better, dynamic chat messages and notifications
For reference, I like the COD-style UI from the Everlands server, but I want to improve it and combine elements from games like Call of Duty and Fortnite.
I already have the gameplay logic working, I mainly need help designing and implementing a more advanced and polished UI + progression layer.
If anyone is experienced with Hytale modding, and would be willing to help, collaborate, or give advice, I’d be extremely grateful
