Looking for internship with development team

Hello everyone, I am Demnish and have been in the Minecraft community since I was 10. This past year, I enrolled in college at the University of Oklahoma, and have become incredibly interested in the field of computer science. Creating and developing software, where you have the ability to use your imagination, and creativity to solve complex problems than getting to see people enjoy the end result sounds amazing, and is the only thing I could ever want to do with my life. I am offering my services for free in return for a spot to learn and grow from an experienced developer. I am an avid, studious person, with a 4.0 currently in University. Any small projects you need, or tedious tasks that need to be done, I will do with the right information handed to me, and patience. I am willing to put 10-15+ hours of work a week into learning and studying java, and I need your help to guide me along the way. Thank you, I know this is a big thing to ask for considering you are all strangers, however, I promise I can help make it worth both of our times.

Hi Demnish,

I want to make myself clear before I begin talking about my server, as you may not be interested. If you are not, that is completely okay with us as we are looking for a mutually beneficial relationship on our server. We are, simply put, a group of hard-working, fast-learning noobs who are looking to create a "passion project" (as our lead developer puts it). We, unfortunately, cannot offer you the type of technical mentor you seem to be seeking but are completely willing to let you take control of your position (so long as it is not negatively impacting the server). As stated earlier, we are all learning new things, dipping our toes into different oceans to find the one that's just the right temperature, so to speak. Some of us, like you, are indeed interested in the field of computer science, but we are yet to delve fully into the world of custom plugin-creation as of yet. We are a group of people starting off small and learning together how to handle the beasts that are Minecraft and Java. Currently, we are working on configuring pre-made plugins before we begin to delve into custom plugin creation.

If you are still interested, which I hope you are, please do continue reading about our server. If not, please let me know and don't worry about reading this second paragraph. We are trying to create a very unique server from the ground up that implements features of RPGs, town-building servers, MMOs, survival servers, and questing servers all into one compact and dense package of a server. As stated above, we are currently creating all of our custom features through configuring plugins, but are looking towards developing our own plugins in the future. If, through all of this, you are still interested, please do let me know and I can give you a more detailed explanation of our vision and plan of attack.
