Greetings!
If you haven't heard of Craftathon, it's a large annual charity event where we invite Minecraft YouTubers and other famous members of the Minecraft community to play online in realtime with their fans. Fans pay a minimum of $5 to access the server for the weekend, which includes custom coded minigames and an SMP server. All funds go directly to Child's Play Charity, improving the lives of children in domestic violence shelters and hospitals. Last year, we raised over $6,000.
We also have panels throughout the weekend where we invite people who have interesting things to talk about present, with Q&As afterwards. It's all virtual, so they just talk in our Discord and it's livestreamed to our YouTube channel. Some examples of last year's panelists were:
If you or someone you know has something interesting to talk about relating to Minecraft, please let me know! This includes people like server owners, developers of widely-used Minecraft techonlogy (yes, I've tried to ask Spigot
