Looking for someone to cleanly remove superfluous parts of a plugin.

Hey there! I'm looking for a, at least somewhat experienced java developer to remove some unwanted parts of an open-source plugin. While you might think this is a bit strange and counterproductive, it's a feature that I don't use in the slightest, and causes a fair amount of headache for me, in the form of continual lag.
