Looking for someone to start a server with.

Hey! I'm looking to start up a new project, but I'm not entirely sure what I want it to be yet. I'm looking for someone else who'd be willing to own the server with me, and someone who is willing to invest equal money into the potential project. I'm open to ideas regarding what type of server it should be, as I currently run an SMP I'd like to try something new that I haven't done before -- anything else is mostly fair game.
Someone with development experience would be ideal, but if not that's okay, we can look to hire some developers at a later date.

I'll be honest, I have yet to fully plan the project and was hoping to do that with whoever ends up in the co-owner position. That being said, I'd like to at least guarantee $100-150 USD from both of us to begin with, which I think is a good start. This is something that can be negotiated as well, depending on the scope of the project that's decided upon. Even if the person taking this position is unable to match the investment, any investment would be appreciated.
