Looking for someone to teach/guide me.

Long story short. I'm looking for someone that has experience in creating plugins and how they learned/an easy way to get into it and learn the basic fundamentals of creating spigot plugins.

The best thing you can do is learn Java first and then practice with the spigot api. It's way too easy than learn both at the same time. Also a good practice is looking at other open source plugins, you'll find better ways to do something and so on.
