He doesn't know Java yet. That means he'll be trapped with basic, half-baked Java knowledge and be stuck making cruddy plugins due to no knowledge of proper Java conventions and such.

boomchackalackaboom If you've seen teej, then you probably should have realized that the first thing he tells a new user is to "go learn Java first". Also, Pogo posts his "advanced" Java concept videos for people who already know Java.

Ammar T That just makes you look like a tool trying to act cool by posting random code that you may or may not have skidded. It doesn't even matter how many languages you know, but how well you know general programming concepts.

Anyways, that's extremely basic C#.

I know, teej gives useful links and such, I didn't say that he would actually learn him hoe to make Bukkit plugins at first.

Anyways, I'm helping this guy, and he does have some knowledge in Java. However, he didn't know what a String is. He now knows.
