As visible, even for budget hosting they're providing high speed DDR4 ram as well as a high freqency CPU, since Minecraft is single threaded for most of its tasks servers prefer less cores and higher cpu frequency.
While configuring for a client I've tried Pebble and I liked their performance, they've only improved since then.
