I need a developer for a few upcoming projects.
Looking for examples of pricing with specific projects.
This will be paid on a per/project basis, not on an hourly basis.

*This is a Java developer for Spigot plugins, not a web developer*

PebbleHost
High performance, consistent uptime and fast support. Minecraft hosting that just works.

Good luck.
I would recommend adding required skills.

General knowledge of Java & the Spigot API
A good amount of experience & past projects
That's all I'm really looking for.

No, in fact ill keep on trashing. Just kidding, is there anything that you need specifically?

It's a general job, I need a developer I can go to for my setups service.
Most developers take too long to commission.

Perhaps specify what type of plugins you need.

It's a general job, the specifics of the project will vary.
Hence why "General Java & Spigot API Knowledge" is a requirement.

I've been coding with Java for 3 years now and reading over the Spigot API with small projects for about a month. It's a very simple and intuitive API to use, so I can probably do whatever you need. Discord: KoolDude#1673

Not sure what you mean by reasonable pricing. I'd count 25EUR/hour as reasonable. Can you be more exact?

Hourly rates are bs; some developers on this site purposely take longer than they need to.
'Reasonable price' is something that most people that can afford. Compare with other developers.
You're on the more expensive end of developers on this site, so I doubt I'd use yourself.

Yeah, that's what I meant. It's better to specify what you mean by reasonably priced because it's really subjective. For huge companies, 250$ an hour for an expert solving an incident is super reasonable, as it may cost them tens of thousands an hour for the down-time.

If you want per project work being done, and afford ~15 EUR / hour, you can try to use Fluent for that. It's a platform i've made to match freelancers with clients. You can select which freelancers you want to work with at the payment stage. You receive metrics for security, and a guaranteed refund for not finishing the project in the timeframe you specified.

I mean I'm comfortable paying $150-200 for a mid-sized plugin, just not with hourly rates. This thread is mainly looking for the prices developers offer and I'll make a decision on Quality : Price when people provide offers.
I have also looked around myself a good amount so I'm aware of what 'Reasonable Priced' is for minecraft plugins.

A good developer wont delay the project just to be paid more, time it's money, the sooner you finish a project the faster you can get another one.

You say that, but by that logic about half the developers I've ever hired aren't "good developers" regardless of how good the product is. Some of the developers I hired also firmly lied about how long they spent working on a product, one of them saying they worked 15 hours when it was only 10 hours since I commissioned a product.

No names mentioned.

I just don't like hourly rates.

False. Some unreputable developers (sadly many of them in the minecraft community) do that to earn more. Unreputable also means few clients, so they try to grab as much as possible from the few they get.

If you're fine with Fluent, PM me on discord and i'll explain how it works and how you can get your projects with it.
