Good luck I would start your search elsewhere though. Most of the talented members here are moving off to bigger things or they've been a complete waste of time in personal experiences. Although frankly with a $5,000 budget I'm surprised you didn't already figure that out.

I appreciate the mention. Definitely an interesting project and budget, but I currently have too many other things on my plate to do something like it.

It's absolutely possible and I've seen developers paid even more before. Really depends on the developer, project, and the client. But I would say that it's more than average of course. Would have to be a very large project.

99.9% web developers/designers here are under 18, so look elsewhere. (incl. 1amDev)
You'd actually be surprised. Many reputable web developers on the market are over the age of 18. Including me, being 19 as I'm posting this.

I wish you luck with finding the right developer for this project Joseph.

Much more, this is a very large project and most professional freelance developers make an upwards of $15,000+ per month.

Extremely dissapointing, I would’ve brought you in immediatly and signed contracts just because of your reputation.

I’ll start my search on some freelancer sites.

He's under 18 I believe he can't sign contacts

Also your checking in the wrong place for a web developer.

Not under 18 as just stated in the above post haha.

Also, still a fine place to try to find a developer. Joseph might be able to find a developer more suited for a project like this with that budget on a freelancer website though. Or even looking into hiring a local web design agency is an option. Still nothing wrong with looking in this market first though.

Best regards,

Well, let's take it this way. The Median pay for a website developer is $31.23 /HR.
5-6 Hours a day for work, that's $156.60 a day. $156.60 x 30 = $4698.00.
Keep in mind those rates are the typical hourly rates for a newbie website developer.

My sources:
https://www.quora.com/How-many-hours-does-a-typical-web-designer-or-developer-put-in-per-day
https://www.google.com/search?q=web...2.69i57j0l5.9012j0j1&sourceid=chrome&ie=UTF-8

TLDR: Hell yeah really.
Price makes sense now, I'm currently paying a company $60/hr to develop just the server features.
