Hello!

I'm looking for translators for an open-source Discord bot project I am working on. With my goal of it being open and easy to use, I am looking for translators to help me expand the reach and availability of my project for non-English speakers.
A translation would mainly involve changes to some of the default language settings I am putting into place, but may also involve translating my comments on my code so that developers around the world may read and understand it.

I'm willing to give 5 USD / 4.50 Euros (or the equivalent in your native currency) for any completed translations as well as a special thank you and credits on my project as a token of my gratitude!

While I do plan on giving out the money, I understand this may not be enough for even an hour of labor. I ask that anyone that contacts me does it in the spirit of hoping to make this open-source project even more reaching and inclusive!

Languages I am especially interested in:
  • German
  • Russian
  • French
  • Italian
  • Spanish
While the project is not yet finished (and will probably never *fully* be out of development, as I intend on expanding it and adding more features), any significant amount of translation is a fantastic contribution.

More information on my bot:
The bot will be coded in Python using the Discord.py API and will be released under the GPLV3.0 License.
Planned/current features include:
  • A greet system with custom "default" roles and welcome messages.
  • Reporting.
  • Mod-given warnings.
  • Ban/kicks with messages and reasons sent to the banned/kicked user.
  • In-server audit logs sent to a specified channel.
  • Custom permissions (most likely with the use of "permission nodes", much like Minecraft permissions plugins such as PEX).
  • Economy.
  • Meme/NSFW search.
  • Extensive custom messages/languages and general settings through YAML-formatted and heavily documented files.
  • Complex extension system using Discord.py's "cogs".
  • Level-up/XP system based on message count.
  • A "like" system using Discord reacts that notify a user and rewards them when their messages are liked.
  • "Server Stats" category with number of members, messages since bot installation, etc.
  • Easy-promote features based on a set role hierarchy.
  • Announcements that can be given by mods/admins with complex embed formatting to allow for beautiful posts.
  • "Grab-your-own-roles" so users can customize their name colors or add information such as class, gender, species (for furry RP servers, for instance) and the like using simple commands.
  • Voting/polls to tackle community-wide questions (such as voting in a new moderator
  • In-server user profiles for users to add their own social media links, in-game names, etc.
  • Everything (including member data) stored in YAML files to offset any need for hard-to-use database systems such as MySQL that can be a pain in the ass for inexperienced users to set up. I have the capability, so I may add MySQL support later on, but this is not currently planned.
I may also be releasing optional "official" extensions to support other features that not all servers may have, such as a roleplay or in-server staff application extension.

The entire development of CamelBot revolves around three premises as an open-source project:
It should be easily extendable.
It should be easily usable.
And, it should be easily available.

Hyped? You should be! Add me on my Discord, Toska-1#1017 for more information or to translate.

High performance, consistent uptime and fast support. Minecraft hosting that just works.

As an addition, I would like to add that calling before being set on the project is, for now, a requirement.

This helps me to assess fluency and character and may be needed later on for conference calls with development.
