Just to let you know, most jobs Minecraft hosting providers offer are not full time. Even if you work say 12 hours a day for a hoster, it is rare that you will get the amount you may expect from a normal full time job as most Minecraft hosting providers pay on a commission/output basis. And trust me, unless you are working for a large hosting company that is understaffed, you will not get as many support tickets/live chats as you may think.

Just my 2 cents about looking for a "full time job" with a Minecraft hosting company.
Don't want you to waste your time thinking that you'll make full time pay by working full time at a hosting company.

I understand what you mean, I have seen some hosts offering full time so I thought to just put that.

Although most full time jobs are going to be management positions which will be harder to get.
Anyways, wish you the best of luck in your search.

Hi scalesthelizard,

Just to let you know, it is very unlikely that you will get any offers on here from any hosting companies, as most organisations want you to apply directly through them.

If you are really serious about this, search around for hosting companies that have vacancies, and approach them about a position.

AtlasA858 is also correct about how most companies in this sector pay their staff - it is generally payed on a commission, unless you are in a management position.

I understand what you mean, I have seen some hosts offering full time so I thought to just put that.
Unless you are applying for a position in a very large organisation, I would argue that there is no such thing as a full time job in hosting (unless your a manager or a system administrator).

You may want to include details such as your expertise and what position you are applying for.

Finally, most hosting companies make their staff operate under an NDA and Staff Agreement Contract. The application process for most places is fairly vivid, thus, you cannot simply "join" - you need to be right for their team.

If you have any questions, please do not hesitate to contact me or any other hosting companies on this forum - I am sure they will be happy to help.

Kind regards,

Team XOMCLOUD
