I'm a full-stack developer and would like to hire an apprentice/intern of sorts. I've created, run, and sold several successful Minecraft websites. I'd like to get another small network of sites going again.

I'm looking for someone that has a few years experience in web development, ideally in a dynamically typed language (PHP, Ruby, Python, Node.js), or has the programming basics down and is keen to broaden their knowledge and experience. A willingness to learn is key.

You'll be working with me to create database-backed websites (PostgreSQL). There will be a strong focus on API-centric development. You'll learn to create queues and workers to handle async processing. We'll need to do some web scraping for building initial data sets. You'll learn to check code into git and deploy to servers. And along the way, we'll do a bit of marketing and SEO to get these sites off the ground.

If you love Minecraft and you're interested in diving deep into full-stack web development, I'd love to work with you! We'll start small and build up as you get more experience. I'm happy to pay per hour, per project, or a share in the end-result (monthly income and/or a sale of the site).

Get in touch with me here via PM. Please include your email and Skype (or any other instant messenger) and a link to your GitHub (if you have one) or samples of your work.

High performance, consistent uptime and fast support. Minecraft hosting that just works.

Just a heads up that I've spoken with a couple of folks, none of which have really followed through.

Natural entrepreneurs are the ideal candidate here, ones that can take ideas and run, not afraid to ask for help or admit when they're wrong, willing to justify decisions and eager to learn.
