Looking to open a server, need some help

hey, i'm a 17 year old in high school, i've got a good ammount of money for my age (around 10k) from buying and reselling on eBay. I used to be really into minecraft a while back and just stumbled upon this website again. I'm really interested in opening or buying a factions server, i've got startup money and lots of time, just not much experience (i have some, i used to own a small factions server a few years ago). let me know if you could point me in the right direction.

Well, first off I'd recommend finding a decent host unless you know how to do that on your own dedicated server.

Then I'd recommend going about a few different factions servers and seeing what you like about them so you can get a decent basis to go off of and see what people like about them.

Then you need to decide if you want to make your own builds or hire someone. If you have those types of funds, then I'd recommend just hiring a team. There are some pretty great ones on the site.

Then you'd probably want to find a long term dev who would be interested in the project to help with any custom plugins / discord bots etc.

After deciding a name and theme, then find an artist to do your graphics.

You could also try joining a few service teams since they offer all of this stuff in one discord.
