Civilization Wars:
Civilization Wars is my own server that has been up since June 2013 (nearly 3 years). In March 2016, we hit our peak at 55 concurrent players online, and every day of Spring Break we had upwards of 40+ players, NEVER dipping below 30. As spring break ended around a month ago activity has been slow, but I am confident that our player base will shoot up again during summer. This is why I am reaching out to YouTubers to advertise our server.
At the moment, we consistently have 15-25 players on weekends. And peak at 17-18 players on weekdays.

Why Civilization Wars?
We believe sincerely that we offer the best Towny Experience hands down. Our server is extremely unique in terms of how we have balanced it and in terms of game-play.
Hosting and Administration:
Our server differs from other Towny War servers in that we offer a server hosted on top notch hardware, with 24/7/365 dedicated, lag-free performance. Our server has its own entirely custom coded AntiCheat solution known as CivCheat, a fork of AAC. We pride ourselves as being "The Best Lag-Free, Cheat-Free experience". Aside from performance, I am committed to ensuring all players are in an environment free from staff abuse, which is why I only recruit the best of the best staff. I personally guarantee that you will never run into any problems from our staff team. Our staff ONLY have access to kick, mute, and ban.
Gameplay Differences:
Now let's talk about some game-play features:
- Town blocks are 25x25, larger than Towny's default 16x16. This allows for better builds and war-flagging systems
- Towns can claim an absurd amount of land. This is one of our most prominent features. Towns can claim up hundreds of town blocks and this DOES NOT impact the upkeep you have to pay. Meaning you can establish and claim a large town and build within it, without being taxed to death.
Here is a showcase of some of our builds:
- Dirt cheap town and nation costs, and NO UPKEEP! You read that right. On most Towny Servers, it takes hours of grinding and getting cash to establish your town, let alone have enough money to upkeep it. On Civilization Wars, Towns are only $150! Nations are only $1500! To put it in perspective, you gain $400 by voting, and $200 is roughly 1 diamond. Each plot only costs $2.50, meaning CLAIM ON! And the best part is that there is ABSOLUTELY NO UPKEEP! However, towns are deleted if they fall into inactivity, so you don't have to worry about that.
- We believe establishing and claiming a town and nation should be easy. The difficult part should be surviving in the harsh political climate. On Civilization Wars, war and diplomacy awaits you around every corner. Choose your own path and make your own destiny. I believe that instead of trying to get enough money to start a town and upkeep it, your efforts should be focused on building, rising up, and conquest/diplomacy.
- A SUPER REALISTIC ECONOMY! On Civilization Wars, the economy is 100 PERCENT player owned and operated. It is a true economy, based off of supply and demand. Instead of the usual, boring grind of farming for mob loot or cane/cacti, you can only sell items to other players that are needed. To eliminate the inefficiencies of town to town trade, there is a central market in which players can lease ChestShops. This is perhaps our greatest feature, and our players love it, and I'm sure you will as well.
- THE BEST WAR SYSTEM! On Civilization Wars, we have a great war system. Nations can declare war upon one another at their discretion. To attempt to conquer an enemy city, place a fence post upon enemy soil. At least one player of the town you are trying to take must be online, and you need to work your way from the outside in (conquer town blocks from the edge and work your way into the center of a town). The fence post will turn into a warflag, which is simply a 3x1 tower with a wool core. Defend the warflag for exactly TWO MINUTES, and bam, that townblock is yours. This TRULY allows for THE BEST war system, where the better army wins the war. Escape the Faction Power Overclaiming System which is unbalanced and boring.
