Hey there,

So my current graphics card has been with me for almost 5 years now, and I figured it was probably time for a decent upgrade.
My current graphics card is an AMD R7 370 and I'm looking to spend around $300-$500 on a decent one which can properly run the games I wish to play.

Any suggestion will be appreciated, thanks MCM!

You also should probably specify your CPU, so we know if the GPU is too powerful, but the CPU is too underpowered, if you have like a i5 7+gen, I'd say go with a Nvidia 1000 Series card, if you have below, i'd say go for like a rx 500 or something of that nature, also Specify the games you'd like to play.

Most of the games I'm looking at are the newer Assassins Creed games, so Origins, Odyssey, Valhalla

My current CPU also needs an upgrade so it doesn't bottleneck, but it will still be a significant improvement.
Current CPU: Intel i5-4590, 3.3GHz - so not too bad, but not great either

If that $300-500 doesn’t include a cpu upgrade, then try and wait to get a rtx 3060 or rtx 3070 when they are in stock.

Let's say I split my budget, and upgrade both my CPU and my GPU, around $250 each, what would you suggest?

It does also depend on what CPU you are running aswell, anything less than a 2600 or 1600AF or a i5 9400f will cause bottlenecks on the new RTX cards from current media knowledge. If you have a older cpu than listed I would say (& most people will disagree with me here) get a 5700 second hand for around $350 USD, and shop around for a second hand 2600 with a cheap b450 with ram already. Or if you do have a more high spec CPU, I’d just say get a 3070. Probably best for you at the moment[DOUBLEPOST=1605653582][/DOUBLEPOST]
Since I doubt you have the budget for a Ryzen Motherboard in there,
like an i7 3770 & 1050Ti or a 1070 small form-factor card.
Not exactly true. He could pick up a 1600AF, a cheap b450 mobo with 16GB of 3000MHz & get a second hand 1660 for a total of $500, but my post before could get more bang for the buck.
