Why not just make a server? With that big of a budget, you can def create a better and more successful server.
Agreed - You're coming into Summer, so hire a Developer, make it and possibly buy a slot or two and a few YouTubers and you're instantly better than a server that's being bought.

And develop a server brand from scratch, and go through all that hassle? Hell no. & most youtubers are locked in contracts with large networks with an established brand.. instead of looking for youtubers who aren’t in contracts, why not just buy the server they have contracts with!

Meh, 20,000 just seems a lot for a Minecraft server. Half the people on this website or even more don't really play MC too much or at all. But GLWS!
Don’t ever underestimate how much money something so simple can make. The most foolish things make the most money; take Fortnite for example.

People are usually trying to sell servers for a reason- usually, that reason is that sales are dying down, people are losing interest, or one of many other possible problems which would make it a bad idea to buy the server. When you think about a big company buying something, such as Microsoft buying Mojang, they paid a lot for it because they believed they could add to it and make that money back. Unless you plan to buy a server then add to the server to make it better to a point you're confident you can earn it back, it's a risky move. Just my opinion, good luck though!

Just don't listen to the people who posted they are clearly trying to scam / take advantage of your money they won't do you any good would recommend only sticking with the people who are trying to sell their server
Well if you're planning to add more to it, then it really is just better to make one from the ground up, 20k is more than enough to hire people to do everything for you with lots left over. It wouldn't even take work on your part, but if this is the route you want to go, I'm sure it can work, I just have never seen it work.
