Looking to start a host, need staff and an owner!

Hello users of MCM.

I am here today requesting a partner and staff for an up and coming hosting company. I have gone and started on a document full of the hosting ideas and ways to beat other competitors. I will only release the document to actually interested and reputable individuals on the forum if requested.

What inspired me to make my own hosting

A few months ago I worked at a hosting company as support staff. They were getting a lot of new clients every day with the most basic types of advertisements. The hosting was getting too many clients and the setup fees were very high considering they were only making very little profit per sale. With the rate that they needed to purchase dedis it started to make them lose. Sadly the hosting company has then merged with another to resolve that problem. It sucked as if the company stayed on and the owner kept investing into it in a few months it would be purely profit. This has inspired me to start my own host as I find I have the budget to keep it up if we do have an oversell.

What's my main plan?

Well, for starters as well as I am confident with my ability to do this myself, I don't want to get stuck and having to take care of everything as I do have a job and are not always online, hence I am hiring support staff, system administrators, managers and another owner. These positions are very limited and may close up pretty fast. What I request of you is to send in a resume including previous experience and proof.

You aren't going to secure jobs or commissions with posts like this. You need to use proper grammar and contact them by the method provided in a professional manner. If you use slang and ask them to contact you it makes you look unprofessional as well as disinterested in their proposal.

OP, this post seems to have been made to early, it doesn't look like you've made any progress regarding the actual business and you're already looking to find staff. If you don't have enough time to be the CEO or owner I don't think this is the right business for you. Businesses require you to invest money but the most important factor for a business to survive and thrive is for you to have the time to love and nurture it and want to be the best. You're going into a saturated market, you need to put your all into this otherwise you will not succeed.

Id be going into wider ranges than only Minecraft. And I plan on playing it smart and not focusing on quick profit like other hosting companies. I have worked at a host before that took its slow, had a few losses the first few months then would've made a LOT more if they hadn't merged. That got me thinking of using the same methods on my own host. I know I wouldn't want to merge but I would have the necessary skills and connections to make it happen. Hence why I plan on opening a host now since the market for it is easy to get past the competitors. Appreciate the concern though

I'd still recommend putting something in the thread that this is a paid position, on the first read it sounded like you were looking for people to work for free.
