Please don't just download a nulled WHMCS panel and rent boxes from SYS or some other shitty company. Would highly recommend learning a bit about actual business structure and how technology companies run and operate before jumping into the deep end.

hello I am looking to start a hosting company but I don't know were to start
My tips are these
1. Find a certain game / niche to get onto. This could be your favourite game or game mode you like playing (e.g Modded Servers)

2. Get a dedicated server you know can run heavy lodes. Personally with my hosting company (not a advertisement) I did research into what specs are the best for what we want to offer. My Niche is mainly Garry's Mod hosting. So with my research the best specs for what I want to host is a Intel I7-4970k, 6700k and a 7700k.

3. Find a panel for you. This is probably the most easy part, I would recommend Pterodactyl as it is one of the best that I know of so far. and one I personally enjoy using and modding. This can host GMod and minecraft related services aswell.

4. Website and advertisements. The No.1 way to gain customers is a good advertisement, If you just say "We offer 0.20c/GB" you are going to get a lot of budget people come to your host, meaning it will not be what you want If you decide to raise prices. Find a good price where you can make profit or break even off if you sell out and go from there. Also a website is most important. for example you want one that catches your eye. Don't make no weebly one or one with bad spelling since it looks like a 12 year old made it.

5. The most crucial step, Have a budget. Every host has a budget on what they want to spend per month. My host (again not self advertising) has a budget of under £50, So far the budget has worked and out total overall cost is 47.64. So just budget yourself on what you want and it should be good.

They are my tips I am using right now. Take them into consideration when creating a host.

It's simple!

1. Download a leaked website template
2. Get nulled WCHMS
3. Get shit specs and lie about it
4. Use a thread design template
5. Promise things that'll never come
6. Steal your client's money
7. Shutdown
8. Open a new hosting
9. Repeat!

hello I am looking to start a hosting company but I don't know were to start Minecraft hosting company
Look I don't mean to be the bearer of bad new, but the mc part of hosting is dying. If you truly want to get into the industry as a whole, create something that is unique and something that people actually need. If you are just going to offer a service without anything unique you won't be that successful and probably would have wasted the investment to even start a company. To even start a company you need the core aspect of which you will be building the company off of. Once you have the idea get the name, if the name is available both in the domain space as well as business space then register it as a company and take the domain. Once you have those first core aspects then you need to look at the cost for what you wish to go in. If you are doing dedicated servers then you need to decide if you are going to just be a reseller and make no profit or are you going to go into the Colocation Services. If you are going into the Colocation Services then you have to look at the cost for the rackspace as well as the hardware (routers, switches, servers, backup power, backup solutions for the servers, etc etc..) cost.

If you haven't gotten my point by now then I will state it plainly for you, don't get into it. It isn't worth the headache and the money to get started in something that is too crowded.
