The only part of the community that can be remotely called toxic is the accounts part. 50% of the shit I see originates directly from there and another 20% or so is directly related.

The main problem is that unlike for most other sections, there's no 100% guaranteed way to not get scammed, or even reliable ways to make the chance negligible. Many people will have at least heard of this guide thing I made on avoiding the most common scams. If you read it you'd know there's no accounts-related advice. That's because I have not been able to think of a way to make sure you do not get scammed at the moment of transaction or later for anything other than accounts that have no history. Even those depend still on the conscience of the person that sold you it, so they don't do an exit scam or something similar.

The rest of the community is kept relatively clean by the mods (why do you think there's so many banned users?). Any toxicity you find there is either toeing the line or has not been proven to be guilty yet.
