Hi,

I recently setup this new machine and I’m only getting around 130-200 FPS on Minecraft. I know it’s not a big deal for Minecraft, but it should be much higher. If anyone has any idea on this, let me know please :).
Here are my specs:

High performance, consistent uptime and fast support. Minecraft hosting that just works.

Do you have multiple monitors? If so, if one of the monitors has a different refresh rate from the other (ex: 140hz and 60hz), the 140hz monitor will feel laggy by comparison. The only way to fix this that I've found is playing in full screen.

If you don't have multiple monitors, I'd just suggest making sure all graphics drivers are up to date, make sure you have allocated the correct amount of ram, make sure your computer is actually using the correct graphics card (can be verified by pressing F3 ingame and seeing which graphics card the game is utilizing). I would also make sure that you do not have VSync enabled in your graphics card settings.

You probably just have programs in the background slowing it down, a setting that's messed up, try a uninstall then reinstall

Hey,

It looks like you’re using Badlion, join the Discord https://discord.gg/badlion and will run through some steps with you for increasing FPS. (FYI, I’m a BLC Staff)

One of the first things we ask the user to do is to increase their memory. You can do this via the launcher by clicking the settings icon and changing the slider. Don’t attempt to set it to more than 5GB.

Check your CPU performance, minecraft is primarily based on CPU. You can try uninstalling your graphics drivers from your GPU to single out that it's likely a CPU issue. Make sure your battery setting is set to high performance (in power options), and not on power saver.. make sure your temps are fine, etc.

clean PC, clean system, check temperatures on PCU+GPU, close all useless software in background. after that you can also do some stress test
