I think it should be possible for people to take names they've wanted if the person has been banned for x amount of time.

I know there's racist names and stuff, but if it's possible to blacklist those names I think this is a great idea.

*Mick pls add this k thx babe <3*

Pretty sure this is already a thing, if a user is inactive for more than a year you can request their name. Could just be me though.
Or it could have been the banned thing. I'm pretty sure I've sent several name requests on to bebosny, and at least one of them got granted.

I did request a name, but Mick wanted to see what the community had to say

Being able to request a name after a year of the user being banned is a good idea. I've denied many requests because despite being banned, the name didn't meet the requirements http://www.mc-market.org/support/username-request/

Only thing is I'd rather have it so the name can be requested if they're banned for 1 year and have less than 500 messages. It would be weird seeing people using the names of well known banned users, especially people who were banned for scamming.

"2. The user must have under 25 messages."
Having less than 25 messages is kind of impossible if the user was active but is now inactive/banned

Yeah, that's exactly why I suggested under 500 messages if they're banned.

Maybe under 250, not really 500. 500 = pretty known scammer, so I'd honestly not really say 500.
I still want Poor[DOUBLEPOST=1485707824][/DOUBLEPOST]Also maybe no post for around 3 months since he got banned, maybe less because fuck it, I want Poor, Poor was banned for chargeback, I ain't waiting till March for it ;-;
