Building a PC, preferably under $1100 AUD, or $1000 AUD.

Thanks. Don't care / SSD vs HDD, whichever is the better bang for your buck.
Don't have a preference of Intel vs AMD, it just comes down to power and framerates.

Thanks.

High performance, consistent uptime and fast support. Minecraft hosting that just works.

A lot. Not exactly GTA V but stuff like Rust, CSGO, CoD ( lol ) and Terraria / Starbound, etc.

I'll be coding on there too, an browsing Reddit and stuff.

Do you need any peripherals with this setup?

Windows?

Anything else?[DOUBLEPOST=1483991052][/DOUBLEPOST]This build is built around a smaller form factor.

I have included Windows 10 and a small SSD to store you operating system on.

With the I5 6500 / RX 470 combo, this will be able to play nearly every game at 60 FPS High / Ultra. The games you mentioned above will not struggle to run on this, expect GTA to run at 80+ FPS at the highest settings.

PCPartPicker part list / Price breakdown by merchant
CPU: Intel Core i5-6500 3.2GHz Quad-Core Processor ($269.00 @ Scorptec)

Storage: Western Digital Caviar Blue 1TB 3.5" 7200RPM Internal Hard Drive ($64.00 @ Shopping Express)
Video Card: HIS Radeon RX 470 4GB IceQ X2 OC Video Card ($279.00 @ PLE Computers)

Please be smart on this... you're running quite menial games so I prefer better parts without so much focus on the GPU:

CPU: AMD FX-9590
Cooling: 3 Fans + Watercooling
PSU: 750Watt EVGA
GPU: RX 460 -Fine for the games you're running
RAM: 8GB DDR3
Mobo: Doesn't matter for gaming, just pick a compatible amd chipset mobo
Storage: 1TB
Case: wtf dosent matter
Why pick the FX 9590 over many other cheaper, more efficient and more powerful alternatives? Not to even mention that it will not run on just any motherboard. You need motherboards that officially support it due to its absurdly high TDP.
