Although this feature is interesting, I consider that it does not have to be mandatory to put an image, I just tried to edit a resource of mine and it forces me to put an image which I do not want to put in order to provide again the information that was removed.

1. Supported software
2. Supported versions
And the new "Gamemode option"

PebbleHost
High performance, consistent uptime and fast support. Minecraft hosting that just works.

Concur, this change is a hard pill to swallow. I'm not aware of any major stores (whether it be SpigotMC or Amazon) that have a carousel of images on their search results. Frankly it feels gimmicky and bombards the user with too much information when the purpose of a logo and short text is simply to draw the user in, either with brand recognition or an interesting description. To walk away from this standard and display a series of banner(s) - which seems to be what's intended based on the "Recommended size: 1024x512px" - feels detrimental. This approach might work for a server list which isn't selling/promoting digital downloads, but not so much here.

Imho a far better approach would be to restrict the carousel to the product page itself, e.g. PlanetMinecraft and nearly every other shop that uses carousels, and continue using an icon in the resource list and elsewhere. If importing server icons from Xenforo 1 is not possible (to which I would be skeptical), apply a generic default icon until the authors update their resource. And/or, make the carousel optional.
