Make people purchase premium in order to purchase/post in marketplace areas

I think it would be a good idea to make people purchase the premium account in order to purchase/post in server and other marketplace forum sections.

This way it makes people feel a bit more safe when dealing with someone and shows us that they are serious in upholding an account on these forums.

yeah, lets force people to spend money they don't have to even be able to use the website for its main purpose.
Also, if I'm gonna scam someone for $500, what does $10 mean?
premium ranks mean nothing when it comes to reliability, just look at all those exit scams.

People can feel safe if they stop being idiots about deals. more than half the scam reports I see could have been prevented by a few simple measures.

And Bruceiro is right it will put a stop to all the alt accounts people carry to get around banned accounts.

All in all, it will show people are slightly serious in upholding an account here and to keep scamming at least a bit lower than what it is right now.[DOUBLEPOST=1455578940,1455578798][/DOUBLEPOST]And it looks like I found one person that doesn't want to fork over the $10 to a free service they had been using for quite some time now.

I'm not here to purchase things, I'm here to sell things. and I'm barely making my rent each month, because in my country getting a job is near-impossible unless you have at least a year field experience. so no, I can't afford that little bit of 10 bucks, not right now anyway.

You're free to mistrust anyone who's not premium. However, forcing anyone to buy premium just to be able to use the marketplace will chase me and many other members off to competitor forums.[DOUBLEPOST=1455579142,1455578998][/DOUBLEPOST]Not that I think staff is nearly foolish enough to accept this anyway, but I thought I might as well get the point across.

Well I think maybe there should be a premium forum section added where only premium members can deal business. So people that are serious about their marketplace accounts can deal with a bit more security when making purchases and/or selling to others.

Just for a final point, lets illustrate the perspective of an experienced scammer.
"oh hey look, if I spent 10 bucks on this rank, people are more likely to trust me".
"aaand I've scammed someone out of $30 and my account got banned. Lets make another using a VPN that's not blocked yet"
repeat until VPN gets blocked. get a new one. Assuming the VPN costs $10 per amount of time it takes to perform a scam, that's still profit.

I'm just saying, having premium does not make you instantly more trustworthy. I've seen plenty upon plenty of scams by premium users. either they used the system I mentioned above, or they simply thought they could get away with it.
If you can come up with more than "it costs 10 bucks so scammers won't buy it" or equivalent arguments, the separate premium forum can go right ahead, if staff want to make the effort. Until then, it won't add much.

There is a premium forum for only premium users to sell and buy things, but there is no way we would make you have to pay to use our forum for it's main purpose (just like Ivain said)

I see the premium section, but no where to sell servers or buy from. Also it's not kept up as much as the regular section for marketplace. And should be a spot in the marketplace area for a premium members to only post in tbh.

Just because people have some money doesn't mean they want to spend it on a forum too buy a single build for example.

As stated before, I think this basically restricts the main aspect of the forum without upgrading your account.
