Suggestion - To make scam reports happen less make the user have to link there discord account & Minecraft account that way you can have a database on who is scamming in the future if they decide to make a new account and try again with the same discord or minecraft account the system should detect that and ban them.

I've seen way to many scam reports on users that are brand new with barely any postings, and I bet they have done it more then once on another account.

High performance, consistent uptime and fast support. Minecraft hosting that just works.

Both discord accounts and minecraft accounts are frequently sold and bought?

Not to mention, Discord accounts are free and you can get an unmigrated account for < 2.00 USD. The only thing this would do is limit the people who can scam to those who can make a second email (for discord) and have 2.00.

The first rule of scamming (not that I'm well-versed in the rules, but I see it's apparent), is to dump that alias. If I scam as Religion with the PayPal [email protected], Discord of Landon#1718, and Minecraft account of Wrangle; if I come back to scam, I will not be re-using any of that information. Some people slip up and do it, of course, but this doesn't seem very effective. And as others mentioned, Minecraft accounts are frequently sold here, so it could create false positives.

While I appreciate you submitting the idea for how you think we could resolve the issue of scamming, I don't think that what you have suggested will result in any less scams from occurring, it'd just lead to people having a false sense of confidence when dealing with someone when they shouldn't. If someone is a serial scammer, they'll inevitably be switching their accounts between times that they come back to MCM and try to seem as different from their prior identities as possible to evade detection.

The tool suggested simply doesn't do anything beneficial because of that.

Denied, thanks for the suggestion
