Make selling PayPal accounts against the rules

I see a lot of threads of people selling their limited PayPal account, or even just their PayPal account. They say 'Yeah, just add a bank account and take the money'. Yet there's one issue- to add a bank account, it has to be in the name of the PayPal account holder. Making the account useless to the buyer.

Proof of my claims:

I think we should just go ahead and stop the selling of accounts, as you can't do anything with it.

Despite that, some people do still manage to recover the funds from limited PayPal accounts. Therefore those that know what they are doing must know a way to do it.

There are methods, I've seen people on other forums selling limited PayPal accounts, and the buyer still gets the PayPal unlimited again.

The methods require work, that not all users know how to do it. MC-Market isn't a forum centered around whitehat / blackhat / greyhat hacking. If you want to sell your account where you know the Buyer will get the funds, go to a forum centered around people who know what they're doing.

I somewhat agree, MCM isn't the best place for this kind of thing. However, stopping something from being traded here just because most people don't know what they are doing with it, isn't something I support.

As long as people selling them, say its limited and don't say things like your example "just add a bank account and take the money" then I don't see a problem. Its up to the buyer to check what it is they are buying as long as the seller doesn't say its something its not, then I think its fine. The forum is quite restricted as it is, I'm not sure imposing even more limits is a good idea, just to cover people who are buying things they know nothing about it.

I recently middlemanned a deal, and had no idea about the PayPal limits with bank accounts. Smooth deal, and buyer couldn't link his bank account, and the seller blocked us both. Most sellers don't even know about the fact you can't link a bank account in a different name, so they're always like "Link a bank, and enjoy".

Yeah, the whole Netspend/E*TRADE/whatever people are using now methods are pretty public, but I agree that PayPal accounts probably shouldn't be able to be sold, just due to the nature of some of the transactions (i.e. selling hacked PPs).

If the account is hacked/cracked, yes- it's fraud. If the REAL account owner is selling, then I wouldn't think so.

I know methods whatever the name is so it is possible.

Half of the accounts that go on sale are redundant ones used by ewhores which got limited and the other half are ones bought in bulk off dark web so yeah.
