Make the Funny reaction positive

Being funny in real life is a positive trait - so why isn't the reaction positive?

If you think someone is wrong, then explain your point of view. The only people I know that will disagree with this are people who enjoy being passive aggressive by routinely posting funny reactions.

It’s only a “haha fuck you dumbass” because you make it out to be that. If people didn’t take everything so seriously there wouldn’t be a need to keep it neutral. What I don’t understand is when a lot of staff members and members say reactions are meaningless but we still make certain reactions neutral and enforce rules on how many reactions we can give to users within a short period of time.

There’s a prime example why it is negative. People like to hate on others and are just plain rude. That will never change.

So, for example, one "funny" reaction on your post adds 1 to your reactions received, similar to nearly every other reaction available currently.

I don't see the benefit of changing funny reactions back from being neutral to positive. While we do tell people that reactions don't mean anything, people still like to see big numbers on their profile. Funny is used 90% of the time in a sarcastic way, so it doesn't make any sense to reward users if they're going to say dumb stuff to farm funny reactions.
