So, I've seen alot if people secretly advertising on other users threads.

What do I mean?
Basically, I've seen a bunch of users with no reputation sell accounts, and a bunch of people spam the thread with 'I can MiddleMan, check the link in my signature'.

Before you call me a hypocrite, I used to do it.

This mainly happens for advertising loans / MiddleMan threads.

Here are some examples (will get more when on PC) ; Whilst I mean no hate to these users it's very annoying.

High performance, consistent uptime and fast support. Minecraft hosting that just works.

Agreed, I do not believe that other's threads should be used for petty and blatant advertising for a person, company or service etc. Unless something valuable that can be contributed to thread can be made, a comment should not be posted. If the person intending to post a comment wishes to advertise their services, they should PM the original poster.

If they say 'Requesting MiddleMan' I think It's fine.

I don't exactly see what the problem is. Are you talking about users advertising their services on others threads when it's not explicitly asked for?

He's saying don't let people advertise their services/threads on a person's thread.

If you're offering a building service and someone comments "come check out my building service here: http://mc-market.org/threads/something", then that breaks our rules and the user gets warned already.

Advertising your service on other peoples threads is the entire purpose of MC-Market, I really don't see why we wouldn't allow it.

We're not talking like if someone is requesting it. We are saying that on an og thread, a lot of users offer some type of service or their own OG. They might not even be premium.

If someone's attempting to sell their account and they aren't Premium, whether that's through a thread or a PM or their signature, if you report them it will be removed and they will be warned.

No, we have people breaking the rules spamming EVERY THREAD like 'Hey I can MiddleMan if you want, click the image in my sig' or 'I can write too, you should check me out' etc

Got some examples of this on threads?

In this situation we have the rules about advertising on other peoples threads and would just warn for breaking that rule.

Denied, thanks for the suggestion.
