Purple is completely different from red I think they just didn't have the color in their head.

It wasn't my call to make. Purple was decided in banner form to be to close to other staff colors. Staff have made it clear anything on or close to the red color spectrum is reserved for staff. There's a reason scam resolver was changed from green.

We didn’t dismiss purple because it was close to staff colours? That was for the colour red. We dismissed it because we already have a purple gradient name colour on the forum.
