Why does it matter that anyone can see the section?

It provides good SEO for the forum and gets your product indexed on google and whatnot.

It takes 10 seconds to register for an account.... stopping visitors stops nobody.

Because any mojang member will see the fucking account section and go straight to locking

They don't actually do that though. And also, what stops them from signing up? We know for a fact Marc_IRL browses on an alt. Anyone can register.
