Making a huge network that people "Think" will be big?! >Read<

So, I have been seeing a lot of post that are on the topic of "Making a new HUGE network" and or something along those lines... Well, what I would like to say is. Where is the proof? You say its gonna be the next big thing, but can not provide proof on how you're gonna make it big. You say "Oh youtubers".. Okay, where is the money? Or, oh I am gonna get a slot. Again "Where is the money?".. Everyone says its gonna be a big server, but can not provide proof on HOW! So, the reason I made this post, is perhaps add in a whole budgeting plan when you are looking for investments, and so on. Go down to the nitty gritty if that makes sense. Really give some details. I have asked at least 3 people who made a thread like this "Where are you gonna get the money for youtubers, and slot." Every time their response was simply this:

"When we get donations, we will be able to get youtubers, and a slot".

Okay, I get that, but why make the post topic "HUGE new network coming soon"? When, not only will it NOT be huge when it comes out, but also, you need to get the players first. I just get tired of seeing the same old "Working on a new HUGE network" posts and it either falls through, or works our for a month or so, and then the server is gone... I just think you should properly explain how you are gonna budget the server etc. I am the owner of GhostPrison, as I am sure most of you who know me know this. And, I have been working hand and hand with advertising managers, and people to help budget the servers money. So far, we have been seeing a 15% playerbase increase, and 63% Unique join Increase from some of the advertising we have done which is FREE! SEO and PPC advertising works very well, but can be difficult to understand, and learn.


Anyways, that is about all. I just suggest people really work out a plan for advertising methods, as some work, and some do not.

I completely agree. I always say, if you're gonna make money, it's a business, no matter what it is. And what do all businesses need? A starting budget. You can't go around hoping you're going to make the next Hypixel. You need an advertising plan. You need an idea. You need money.

Again, I completely agree. People should make a plan and some dough before jumping into stuff like this.

Exactly, I started my server with a 250$ budget I got everything NEED, not everything NEED and a bit more. I got what I needed and we went from there.

Now, we are averaging 10+ at all times, and 25+ peaks. And, we still have not done much in the way of paid an effective advertising yet. We got some slots on smaller sites here and there, and a few youtubers that are HCF even tho we are OpPrison etc. But, once we start our paid advertising, we should be hitting 50+ daily. I got a few tricks up my sleeve.

Since November 1st. And, we have made just a bit over 1,400$.

We plan to do some SEO advertising soon which should get us a 50-100+ playerbase boost. And, over 500,000-1mill unique joins over the span of a few months
