sooo I think my thread may have tickled some people in the wrong way.
I am putting in this investment, but I would like a partner who can also front an investment for advertising/graphics/etc. This is a joint partnership and depending on efforts and time worked would determine split revenue from the project.
things i can provide:
Servers - an unlimited amount of 8 core, 8-50GB RAM boxes depending on what we need and our capacity, all 24/7 hosted. this would be our best case scenario for a network.
Web hosting/development - I can cover all the fees for web hosting and develop most of the necessities myself(i.e. forum, landing page, shop, etc.)
Voting/Traffic bots - i have (now private) voting bots for 5-6 different server listings which can provide hundreds of votes to boost our server in early days.
Time input - 10-20 hours/week, I am available around 14-16 hours a day for emergency fixes or patches if things go down.
PPS Developers - I have two contacts that are willing to develop pay per share(cut made from the servers income), so development will be free in a sense.
things i am looking for:
Funding - Since I am only looking for one partner on this project, I would like that you have some sort of funding to pay for the initial server work(say, setups if we chose that route) or advertising. This would obviously be our first return from anything made before splitting net profit.
Community manager - Though I would help manage the community myself, I am looking for a partner who has decent English that can manage the majority of the community(this means being a mature human being)
Spigot developer - the original setup can be based solely on free/paid work, but I would like to introduce new ideas and concepts to keep steady income on our venture. this would more than likely require some form of developer
All income you make will be based on what the server makes(this can be by %, weekly payouts, or something of the sort. effort is a big portion as to what you'll be making).
If anyone knows me, I am one to start a project and really work with it. I am not here for a short-term cash grab from a couple of months worth of donations and pulling the plug.
If you have any questions or would like me to clarify something in depth, feel free to leave me comments below.
