So eventually I will charge for this but in the mean time since my portfolio was smashed to bits on an old hard drive and I'm already bored this summer I am offering this for free because time lapses are actually fun/easy to make.
I will make a time lapse of your build whether its a personal build or for a server big or small I don't really care.
What's a time lapse?
time-lapse
adjective
adjective: time-lapse; adjective: timelapse
How do you make these "time-lapses"?
I record using Fraps (sometimes El Gato software depending on desired quality) and I record the entire build process maybe changing perspectives randomly depending on length of build and all that shit gets saved on my 4tb external hard drive because that's a ton of recording. Then all that footage is rendered for usually quite a while sometimes days and some music is added and its done.
Time lapses are cool because they can add an extra layer of depth to a builders portfolio as they give a unique perspective on how the build is created and the time put into said build. They can also be used in cinematic server trailers.
So if you think this would be cool and want to give me something fun to work on then answer these questions in a PM or on the thread.
What is the build for?
How big is the build?-
How long do you think this build will take?-
How many people are working on this build?-
When will the build start?-
Or if its for a team and you want me to make time lapses for all your future builds thats cool just pm me.
Noting the answers to those questions don't really affect whether or not ill do it. Genuinely just because I'm curious.
Here is one of the real life time-lapses I made last summer if you have never seen one.
And here is a short test video I made on Arkham
