It doesn't matter if it is by accident. Leaking an IP is illegal. It's against the EULA of running a server if anything he shouldn't own a server if he doesn't know how to keep private information safe. And he doesn't seem how even to use decent grammar.

I'm staying neutral in the argument, but what US law says leaking an IP address is illegal? As far as I am concerned it's public information.

Perhaps if the client has COOPA protection, but I highly doubt that even applies. As someone who has dealt with both companies Vocus out of New Zealand, and Verizon in the States, I highly doubt that 'leaking' an IP is illegal, even if unethical.

It's private information. Basically considered DDoS with the amount of stuff you can do with an IP. It's not just unethical. And I can almost guarantee you don't just "leak" an IP unless you get your stuff hacked.

Also even if it isn't in a certain country, an Owner releasing an IP because of something a staff member did something he didn't like, so he had an emotional outburst and did so. That is beyond messed up, and someone who is that much an idiot should not even be close to Owning a server, which while I'm at it has zero players online and a ton of staff. It seems stupid to me if there are no players, why tf have staff?

Alright, i couldn't manage to reach my computer yesterday.

Sosa Ip was leaked by myself, correct. But! Not intentionally in the fact of purposely l`eaking` or else i would have given it to users willingly,
This was not based on emotional actions or anything related other than trying to provide accurate proof to something this user had done, i know better myself not to throw away a company i have invested thousands of dollars into, just to throw it away over a grudge.

Evidence the case was investigated and i was proven innocent in my actions.

I was punished by MCM and Perma Banned, i then gave proof, which Kram investigated and saw that i was ideally not doing it on purpose, i had made a negative rep to Sosa for GRIEFING MY CLOUDFLARE by deleting our DNS's and posted it in his Neg Rep Proof that contained the IP of the user whgo had griefed the CloudFlare Which also contained the UUID to the account Sosa25.

He gained access to this information via being a previous manager and this is why i devouch for him being on anyones staff team, because he is young, naive and manipulative, he trys to take control of whatever he does and gets angry if his opinion is contested, he wanted printer in SkyPrimes server but i strictly said no as i have my thoughts against it.

Nobody should have access to your Cloudflare. Unless they are a web developer, even then it's likely they shouldn't need it, as you should have the basics set up your self. And they could just edit the website, from the website. Giving someone access to your Cloudflare, the defense of your website and domain is so stupid, that you should have honestly expected it to happen.

I 100% agree that players' IP addresses should not be leaked (not saying it happened in this case, I have no clue).

That being said, it is not illegal in the United States to leak IP addresses nor are they protected under any data protection laws in the United States. I agree and understand the implications of leaking IP addresses, and that it should never be done, but that does not make it illegal.

Saying racial slurs is also unethical and should never be done, but that doesn't make that illegal either.

I agree with everything you have to say, but don't say something is illegal when it isn't.

From an outside position of "knowing of" Spiritex and not personally knowing him through having been staff or anything, I never liked him. I've talked to the countless past managers and they all say the same which i now take as fact due to the sheer amount of them. He is controlling, manipulative and a two faced liar. Seeking only to benefit himself, he tears through manager after manager, messing them around constantly.
