Yeah, so, I don't know about you, but I found it pretty rude the way you were acting to that other guy in his thread. uess you get what's coming.


A semi-colon is for adding on more information after the sentence, similar to a 'PS' message. Thus meaning that if you took it away it would still make perfect sense. In this instance, that is false. For a semi-colon to be needed, the sentence should be able to make perfect sense as 'Hey, I'm Jy, or as you would know me in game.' In this case, a standard colon would be more appropriate.


There should be a comma before the and. You are using a connector, but you still need to add a comma to separate the two clauses. Also, in my personal opinion, if you decide to use a random capital and make 'Staffing' and 'Management' start with capitals, to me it would be better if 'server' did too. The "things" in this sentence are server staffing and server management. Using a slash just means you can say server staffing/management without needing the additional 'server'. However, as it is one thing, if you say 'server Staffing' instead of 'Server Staffing', it's like me saying 'rio de Janiro' instead of 'Rio de Janiro'.

Thanks for your input! But, saying "uess you get what's coming" isn't too nice, and what you explained was two errors that anyone could've missed. I'm not going to go on about how your post has several grammar issues, but I thank you, once again, for your feedback!

Just letting you know, but that would be a much better example for a semi-colon. You're saying 'No thanks.', then are adding on to it and are supporting said message.

Seriously though, it wasn't very nice how you treated that guy who was just trying to get himself crawling. How would you feel if you had just taken your first step, and someone came and pushed you over? That's essentially what you did to him.

No, I didn't. I gave my feedback, and he didn't take it well.

I'm not going to argue because I didn't really read it and just skimmed, but he seemed pretty upset, and was intent on the fact that you were trying to make him lose because you were both aspiring managers.

Previous notions notwithstanding, you took my feedback well and handled it properly - from personal experience, the majority of time I spent when I was managing servers was consistently being told how bad I was.
