Information about Crypteria


Crypteria is a factions server that has released in August, 2016. It is a server that performs with very nice quality. After bringing the server up with hardly any advertisements, we gained a small playerbase. This playerbase helped us find bugs so we could perfect everything on the server and enhance user experience. With little to no donations, we were still functional. I spent a lot on this server (not saying how much publically) and the expenses included development, advertising (which didn’t work out because I got scammed), graphics, builds, hosting, and so on. Eventually, I couldn’t afford to keep the server up, so it went down along with the website a couple months (1-3) or so after release. However, when Crypteria went down, it was 100% complete (just with few players). My plan is to save up money and reopen it when summer hits better than ever before. Today I’m looking for a manager to help me out with making my dream come true.


Manager Position


This position is extremely important and beneficial to Crypteria. I am scouting for one manager who is responsible for a lot of things.


Manager Requirements

• Is available almost daily throughout the week (unless of course on vacation or has an emergency to attend)​
• Experience in this field (I want someone who knows what they’re doing)​
• 14+ years of age​
• Someone that can actually do the job and has the contacts to do so (you definitely need to have contact with faction youtubers)​
• Has Skype​
• Has Discord​

What the Manager does

​

• Makes sure we have a stable staff team before release and throughout the existence of the server.​
• In charge of financial expenses (ex. gets us new builds, graphics, website improvements, custom plugins, etc when we need and can afford them).​
• Has contacts to people who can help us (investors, youtubers, devs, builders, etc)​
• Manages the server and forums.​
• Provides feedback, suggestions, and ideas.​
• Overall, manages everything whether it’s support, recruiting, advertising, expenses, etc. The main thing this manager is in charge of is advertising and making sure our money is spent successfully and gets us a good pb.​

The manager will be starting the job the day hired because we need to have everything ready and prepared for our release this upcoming summer. My budget for advertising will be a couple hundred and the manager can invest some money into the server if wanting to (optional). I want the Manager to actually do their job and exceed expectations.

Why do you think you would be suitable for this job?:​

I think I would be the ideal candidate for this job as I'm already playing on MC servers a lot of the time and I have anywhere from 4+ hours per day minimum. This means I can be on the server, and managing for a good amount of time per day. Ive also done these kind of jobs before, I was a developer and manager for a network called Diamond armor (it was a freelance job). I found all the builders and tested them to make sure their style was what we were looking for before letting them on the job, tested all developers before joining to see if they were really capable of what they said they could do and gave updates every step of the way to the owner.

What makes you stand out from all the other applicants?:
I have a lot of experience with these types of jobs and a lot of time on my hands to put into Crypteria.

Do you have contacts?:
Yes, many! I know a handful of skilled plugin programmers (they are somewhere in my Skype contacts as I worked with them on diamond armor) builders that have been featured by Mojang (at a MineCon event on a PvP map) and I can find you tubers that are suited to this job, for example not CSGO you tubers that have just jumped on MCM to try make a dollar or two but you tubers that have schedules and active subscribers. I am an investor myself and also know a few people who are looking for some places to invest.

Experience being a manager:
As I mentioned previously, I have worked for Diamond Armor (that was a massive projects that took over a year and many thousands of dollars) and also a few of my own servers that I have managed to rack up a few players (60-70 on ACG) however this was over a year ago!

Are you able to invest?:​

Most likely, (how much?) it depends on what I get in return and what the server's turn over, player base, investors ECT but anywhere from $100 - $200 max for now.
How many hours are you able to work? weekdays probably around 4 hours minimum (up to about 6) and on weekends from 5 - 10 hours.

I hope you take me into consideration as I could be a valuable part of the team.

AVG pb - Not gonna lie, it was pretty small because I didn't do many advertisements that were successful (got scammed a lot). It was like 3-7 off some server lists and stuff. I mainly focused to just present the server with high quality (no bugs, epic builds, etc) while it was up.

Total turn over - If that's referring to donations from the past year, I will not be releasing that info to the public.

I have found 2 managers (instead of one) and will be arranging an agreement with them soon regarding their stay and future work at Crypteria. I additionally found a couple potential investors .
