Over the past 2 months, we have been preparing our next big reset. As we approach the end of the current factions season, we also approach the beginning of the next. We have been putting in countless hours and we are happy to give the first updates and dates for this reset.
Primarily, our goal is to encourage the spirit of factions, raiding, betrayals, competing and striving to be the best faction. Our largest feature in relation to this is our new f top. It will keep track of how many of each spawner your faction owns, how many ore blocks you have, chests, hoppers and other things which are all put into a grand total. Every 2 weeks and at the end of the reset we will be giving a prize to the richest faction. We have also extended every faction's maximum power to 1000 instead of 500 allowing bigger claims. Maximum faction's size will remain 30 members but each member will have 20 power. As cannons currently work on MapleCraft now there is now a need to put lots of defenses around your base. There will also be TNTFill to make filling your cannons less tedious. We are also happy to show off that there will also be a "Featured Spawner" in the shop which will change every few days which is just a random spawner which will have a 20% discount. The more expensive the spawner, the less it will be featured.
Secondly, we will be introducing custom enchants into the server. There are 30 total enchants which each offer different perks and abilities. Custom enchants will be purchased via XP using /enchant where you may purchase a tier 1, 2, 3, 4 or 5. The higher the tier the more expensive the enchant. There will also be a success/destroy rates on the enchants as done by most servers. I am going to stress that custom enchants will not dictate the whole PVP fight. They will give an advantage over your foe but it will not base fights purely around them. We will be releasing more information about the enchants and what they do in the future.
Custom enchants will also be obtainable via MKits (GKits). There is currently about 15 MKits but we will be expanding on them as the map goes on. MKits will be obtainable via Monthly Crates, BossMobs, and Care Packages which I will talk about throughout this thread.
Monthly Crates will be purchasable via BuyCraft or able to be won from BossMobs or Events. They will contain things such as Tokens, Money, Pieces of MKits or even access to the MKits yourself. There are many other things which will also change every month as we release the updated crate for that month.
BossMobs will be strictly obtained via BuyCraft unless included as a part of an event. They are fierce bosses ranging in 3 difficulties, Beginner, Intermediate or Advanced. They progress in difficulty in the order previously listed. They have a large range of drops which will fly off the boss as you battle it. These can be anything from tokens to a rank. The more difficult the boss, the better and more common rewards will be. Bosses can only be spawned in the warzone around spawn.
Care Packages are small-scale crates which offer tiny bundles of goodies. They are purchased via /carepackage where you may spend your tokens to purchase one. Over the past 2 months, we have been preparing our next big reset. As we approach the end of the current factions season, we also approach the beginning of the next. We have been putting in countless hours and we are happy to give the first updates and dates for this reset. Tokens will be obtainable from Buycraft, fighting BossMobs, or Monthly Crates but their most common way of being obtained will be through selling Mob Heads which have a 5% chance to drop on the death of a mob. These heads may be exchanged in /heads for tokens in return. The rarer heads will be for more value.
The final things I am going to mention is that we will be having a NickGUI where you may pick the color of your name along with if it is bold or not depending on your rank via /nick. There will also be lots of general server-side improvement along with a more professional look on the server.
There is still many other things to show off which I will be sure to do in the near future as we range closer to the reset. If you have any other requests or complaints about the current additions feel free to leave a comment.
Kind Regards,
Russell
