Market For Renders?

Hey guys, I was just curious as to a couple of things.
So, the majority of minecraft websites feature full page backgrounds of rendered minecraft scenes. I was wondering if there was a market for people interested in buying them, either individually, or in packs of like 5. I am wondering because not everyone has access to the software to render worlds first of all, and second of all, you need a rather beefy computer to get a render done in a reasonable amount of time. So I'm wondering if I should start selling HD minecraft renders either individually upon request, or if I should upload like render packs (in groups of like 5 renders) on the premium resource sections. Not sure how much I'd charge, but this post is all about feedback
I'd appreciate any pointers or tips regarding selling of world renders

I'm pretty sure the person we pay for our renders does $6/render of our builds, but I think we have a deal where we pay $60/month and get unlimited renders of our builds.

Imo, I think having some stock renders for sale for cheap to use for website backgrounds would be cool.

But yeah. I'd like to get into rendering out some worlds, I really like the idea of selling like packs of 5 renders or something for just generic worlds and things. A lot of the renders found using google are used alot by other people, and even I am guilty of over using some of the good renders found.

Do you have a portfolio of nice renders of builds or terrain? If not, I'm about to start a giant mega build for my portfolio. Maybe you could render it for free to add to your portfolio . But if you plan on doing a lot of renders you better have a monster computer.

I have a pretty beefy computer. I'm going to be tweaking with some software to render using my GPUs rather than my CPUs, and I'll be able to crank them out no prob. But yeah, I wouldn't mind making a few renders if you're interested. PM me ;P

Currently just playing around with a few different techniques, managed to render this.

Still need to tweak some settings to boost the quality though.

Literally I'm just tinkering around with settings and getting my textures / lighting going. This is not even close to what I have in mind for an end product. I wouldn't even bother trying to sell something close to this xD. Maybe this was a bad example to post

Yeah, for sure. I am working on adding in some water effects, and more detailed lighting effects. That was just sort of a proof of concept with a random map I just had in my worlds folder.

hey, i'm currently saving up for a new computer to make build renders! you can stay tuned for them, i promise you theyll look amazing! i've made some in the past, but they never really rendered well since my laptop sucks (4 gb or ram and only 1.5 ghz D
I have experience in these kinds of things, 2 years actually.
But anyways, when I get my new computer, you'll see how amazing my renders will be .
