Hello, everyone!

If you haven't already guessed, I'm a marketing manager with a variety of approaches and methods for expanding a network. But I had a question: as a server owner, would you prefer a marketing manager (someone who works with you and comes up with marketing methods and helps you get setup for a fixed price) or a marketing agency (a company that would get a youtuber you're interested in, and then charge a percentage of the final deal)?

Thank you very much!

As a stingy owner, I would definitely prefer a Marketing Manager as that is more hands on & your just getting more out of your buck. Why would I want to pay someone to introduce me to someone, then take money for simply introducing that person. But of course if you have a large budget I see how that can be great, but at that point if you have a large budget you should be able to find youtubers on your own. Or act like you are interested with the marketing agency, then get the contact of that youtuber, then cancel last minute to stay in contact with that youtuber, and boom you don't have to pay a freaking Marketing Agent.

Personally, I'd rather give someone X money every month and say "good luck, do what you can"

Yeah tbh I know Vactum and he probs has more connections than most marketing managers out there, spending money on a marketing manager is like slowly sliding your money down a pretty tube into a dumpster fire. Marketing in a nutshell : use brain and think what people wanna see and when and how, then do that.
