I dont want to trash this guys thread... all i'm going to say is: Of course people do it to get paid. Just like any profession, if you're good at it you charge for it. If you're passionate about it even better because then it's much easier and enjoyable ... but you seriously cant bash someone for wanting payment for creating designs.

So I am going to put this to rest, of course, after sayings some things:
- you have just two very similar looking mascots on your page and treat yourself like a king for being on dribbble
- of course I want to make money. You think I want to spend hours on designs just for someone to drop a message on my profile saying "vouch"?
- "buy my gfx" is my motto, of course just seeing it in a sig somewhere isn't going to make you somehow magically want to buy my gfx.
